This picture was taken in the second or third lockdown, I lose count. Rosie hadn't felt grass before (living in a flat in London) and I hadn't had a pint from a pub in a very long time. It was a perfect combination! Simple pleasures. Sometimes we forget what is important or what can make us happy - and what it takes to get us there. I spent the lockdown summer, when not in the park, creating IVFDad. I wanted to remember the hard times as well as the good, in order to help others. When on your fertility journey, it's important to have an image in mind of where you want to get to. This was mine, taking my kid to the park and celebrating it. It was good to see it come true.
